WHO SHOULD JOIN

The Competition welcomes students’ participation in two distinct categories:

JUNIOR:

6TH TO 8TH STD

SENIOR:

9TH TO 12TH STD

FORMAT OF THE COMPETITION:

Round 1:

The Preliminary Round

Round 2:

The Eliminator Round

The top 250 individuals from the Preliminary Round will be invited to participate in the Eliminator Round. In this round, students will be required to upload another video of maximum 120 seconds. Topics will be provided to the students, and they have to speak either in For or Against the motion. Evaluation will happen based on elocution skills, convictions skills, clarity of thoughts and correctness of facts presented

Round 3:

The Grand Final

The top 20 individuals will participate in the grand finale of War of Words,

which will be hosted in the month of December’23 

WHY SHOULD YOU PARTICIPATE?

- The Winner of War of Words 2023 will have a direct ticket to the World School Debating Championship (WSDC)

- The Top 20 finalists will be mentored by renowned elocutionists of the country
