Aalekh Foundation –A non-profit organisation that works towards achieving G20 goals, with a specific focus on women's and children's welfare and empowerment. The organisation is proud to bring forward a solo art exhibition by artist Pooja Kashyap on women empowerment and the role of women as key contributors to society and essential drivers of the country's economic and cultural development. The event coincidentally falls in a month dedicated to saluting women's contribution to making society balanced and progressive. In tandem, Pooja Kashyap celebrates the remarkable role of women as assimilators of art, culture, and cuisine across India's diverse landscape. Through her intricate murals, she beautifully illustrates how women have historically woven together the fabric of Indian heritage, blending influences to create a harmonious tapestry.
A centrepiece of the exhibition is Pooja's mesmerising portrayal of Ardhnarishwar, a divine depiction of Shiva and Devi in one form, symbolising the intrinsic power coalesce of the feminine and masculine energies. This painting serves as a poignant reminder of women's inherent strength and empowerment, urging viewers to recognise and embrace their true potential.
