We Care-Walk A Thon 2021

As some people walk a little different,talk different, and act a little different, these people cannot be deprived of reaching goals,

being productive and lead a dignified life. Every person should have the chance to their independence.

It is the responsibility of all of us as a compassionate society to create and promote an Inclusive Society and help these Differently Abled people find their place in life with dignity. Let’s all build a Society which respects the rights of people irrespective of their abilities.

This is the fourth consecutive year, SVK Shikshan Sanstha is organizing Walk A Thon, to promote Inclusion.The main agenda of this Walk A Thon is to celebrate differences, and to take a stand for acceptance and inclusion

Show the world that you CARE by participating in our virtual Walk A Thon, starting from

3 rd December, which is marked as World Disability Day.

About the NGO:

SVK Shikshan Sanstha is a registered NGO based in Nagpur, India works with an objective to empower Intellectually Challenged Adults and to create an Inclusive Society with equal opportunities.

SVK Shikshan Sanstha strongly believes in working with the idea that disability is not in the individual but in the system for its lack of ability to include all. Our work is to not only focus on the issues faced by differently abled people but also to involve the community at large alongside on issues of Inclusion.

How to Participate:

 Walk A Thon-2021 is a virtual walk in which you can participate from 4th

December to 5 th December 2021.

 Register between 15 th November to 1st December

 Make an A-4 size poster with a slogan “I support Inclusive Society”

 Walk for 2km/5km on your terrace or in a park or in an open ground wherever you

feel comfortable and safe from Covid-19 by following all Government specified

norms.

 Don’t forget to hold the poster “I support Inclusive Society”, while you walk

 Take a 30 seconds video & click your picture and post them with a hashtag “I

Support Inclusive Society” on our Facebook page, between 4 th to 5 th December.

Remember, hashtag “I Support Inclusive Society” is mandatory while posting your

video and picture

 No registration charges. But you can voluntarily contribute for the cause as your

contribution will be spent on vocational training programmes for Intellectually

Challenged Adults
