HTSS (Hi-Tech company Software Solutions) is a 20 year old global software development and information technology outsourcing company with offshore development center in Chennai.Due to their consistent strive towards the latest technologies; HTSS had set its foot in the latest Virtual and Augmented Reality domain also. HTSS have been developing applications in AR & VR domain to cater their client with the latest trend in the IT industry.

The VRARA (VR/AR Association) is an international organization designed to foster collaboration between innovative companies and people in the virtual reality and augmented reality ecosystem that accelerates growth, fosters research and education, helps develop industry standards, connects member organizations and promotes the services of member companies.

HTSS (Hi-Tech company Software Solutions) in partner with the global VRAR Association intends to share its knowledge and expertise in Virtual Reality & Augmented Reality technology to the engineering students in South India.

VRARA South-India Chapter& HTSS have planned to conduct its first workshop on VR & AR in the Gnanamani College of Technology, Namakkal, Tamilnadu on 06 Oct 2017 and also the South-India Chapter of VRAR Association will be officially launched on the day of the workshop.

Pre Requisites:

1. Participants have to bring Laptops with the following software installed,

Windows 7 or above Windows OS installed
Latest Unity 3D Software installed (https://store.unity.com/download?ref=personal)
Please make sure the Mono develop option is selected when you install Unity 3D

2. Android Mobile Phones or Tabs with Data Cables to test the outputs.

3. If you could bring Google VR Cardboard (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Cardboard) or any VR Goggles to get immersed with your first project in VR, it can be an added advantage.

4. Knowledge in DotNet is preferable but not mandatory; any programming language knowledge is sufficient for a beginner.
