INTRODUCTION
Welcome to the 1st ever virtual marathon organized by Xtreme Sports India. Owing to the Covid-19 situation a marathon event at scale has become a near impossibility. But one can’t stop living in times of great adversity and so respecting and reinforcing the social distancing rules, we have come up with a virtual marathon.

THE WHY
In the current Covid-19 scenario, fitness and running enthusiasts have already been very patient to get on the road with their running buddies. As September come to a close, we all are missing our usual marathon season. But we all have to be safe first. That doesn't mean the spirit of running has to be curbed. The show must go on. Which is why, we announce this event of virtual run, where a runner can run in her or his own vicinity and participate in the event and also get the compilation medal. Here is to the sport and its lovers.

WHAT IS VIRTUAL RUNNING
Virtual race is a self-monitored rather a self- motivated race that one has to run and finish after which the participant gets a certificate by mail. The beauty of virtual running is that you don't have to travel far to reach the venue. You decide the venue and start the run.

YOUR COACH
Famous ultrarunner, marathon coach and record holder “Raj Vadgama” will personally design 3-month training schedule for registered participants.

THE HOW
Why our running event is different? 3 months prior to the event, we shall provide an entire practice regime and training program to all the registered participants. the plan will be a weekly schedule as per individual fitness level divided following categories based on time taken to finish HM:

Novice: (2.30 Hours to 3 Hours Onwards for HM)
Intermediate: (2.00 Hours to 2.15 Hours for HM)
Advance: (1.35 Hours to Sub 2 Hours for HM)
Elite: (1.15 Hours to 1.30 Hours for HM)

The planned training starts from 1st October 2020.
Following features will be included in the plan:
1. Complete guide on strength training along with videos
2. Diet guidance
3. Stretching and yoga sessions
Training plan will be provided once the registration is done.
