Vasota Fort Trek & Overnight Camp

Vasota is a hill fort located near Bamnoli in Satara. The trek involved in getting to the top offers a thrilling experience as one would be walking through a dense jungle during the entire route. This is every trekkers dream trek as the beautiful views that it offers are breath taking.

*Height:* 3842 feet from sea level

Date: Every Sunday

Departure: Saturday 8:30 PM

Grade: Easy - Medium

(150 for Couple Tent)

• 08:00 PM: Maharashtra Bank, Shivaji Nagar
• 08:30 PM: Sasoon hospital, Pune station 
• 09:15 PM: Swargate (Opposite to Laxmi Narayan Theatre).

• 02:00 PM Borivali National park
• 02:30 PM Garware chowk Andheri East
• 03:00 PM Kurla CST road
• 03:30 PM: Govandi- Vashi Corner towards vashi
• 04:00 PM: Kalamboli Mcdonalds

Sunday Mumbai Pune members will meet at base village 

• 12:45 PM: Reach base village, pitch your tents, enjoy bonfire, take part in ice breaker sessions, be a stargazer and sleep nearby the river.

• 05:30 AM: Wake-up call
• 06:30 AM: Enjoy the beautiful sunrise & get ready for the adventure.
• 07:00 AM: Have breakfast
• 08:00 AM: Depart for Vasota by boat & enjoy 90 mins boat ride.
• 10.00 AM: Start with the Vasota ascend 
• 12:00 PM: Reach the top, enjoy the breath-taking views
• 01:30 PM: Start with the descend and reach the boat point 
• 03:00 PM: A Boat ride to reach Bamnoli.
• 05:00 PM: Reach bamnoli, Have Lunch and start return Journey.
• 10:00 PM: Pune
• 12:30 AM: Mumbai (1hr +/-)

Trek ends but the beautiful memories stay forever.

• Shawl/Blanket
• Extra pair of clothes
• Sports shoes/ Trekking shoes
• Towel
• 1.5 lit. Water
• Try wearing full sleeves and full track pants. 
• Energy Drink / Energy Bar

Before you get register yourself for treks with The Trek Traveller 

Please read following Terms and conditions:

1. Responsible for belongings:

• I am willfully coming to the trek organised by " The Trek Traveller "and its organisers shall not be responsible for any mishap, injury during entire trek. Also, they are not responsible for loss of my personal belongings.

• We are not responsible for any kind of Loss or Damage done to an individual or their belongings.

2. Cancellation policy:

• No refund if the cancellation requested is less than 2 days prior to the event date.

• If trek gets cancelled we will refund "trek Amount" only. 

3. Prohibition of hazardous things :

• I promise not to smoke, chew tobacco, drink alcohol during entire trek.

4. Cancellation of trek :

• Organisers retain the authority to change, cancel the plan at any point of time and even without any prior notice. 
• Trek leader’s decision will be final and binding. 
• Climate/Weather is not in hands of anyone of us.

In case of natural calamity, if organizers decide to change or cancel the plan, I am ok with it.

5. Prohibition of other activities :

•  Any adventure activities or sports is prone to risk and injuries.

6. About any medical aid :

• Only basic first aid can be provided by The Trek Traveller. 

For fatal injuries if any, we can at max hospitalised the individual to the nearest hospital.

Its cost however, has to be borne by the individual.
