Uday Waldorf Winter Carnival

181.854x181.854 (Original: 1080x1080) Uday Waldorf Winter Carnival is a fun fair organized by the school's parents, teachers and children every year to display the lovely world of Waldorf and share the love and kindness they experience as a whole Uday Waldorf Community.

Date of Carnival - 17th December 2023

Timings- 11 am to 5 pm

Age Group- 15 months and above Children and their accompanying Parents/Guardians.

Infants are free.

This year we are bringing unique Adventure Activities like ziplining, wall climbing, and rappelling along with traditional hands-on experiential activities like grinding, pottery, chakki, carding, weaving, charkha, wet-on-wet painting and many more.

The Carnival also has lots of interesting workshops for all age groups like puppetry, toy making, dance, creative arts and also many meaningful workshops for parents. The workshops will happen at the specified time slot, please collect your workshop coupons from the Workshop Registration Desk at the carnival.

Our children are also excited as they are putting up stalls for food, and games and bringing lots of workshops and performances.

Our parents are making all preps as well, from decoration to handmade toys, to food stalls and helping with all backend processes like registrations and promotions.

Q1. Can my nanny come along?

Ans- Yes, any family member can come along too after buying their entry ticket.

Q2. Are there snacks?

Ans- Yes, we have healthy food stalls, and you can buy your food from there.

Q3. What is the difference between workshops and activities?

Ans- Workshops have a definite start and finish time from 30 minutes to an hour, and also a small batch- max 20 in number and are age-specific. While activities are available throughout the day.

Q4. Are parents allowed to accompany the child in the workshop?

Ans- We suggest children up to 4 years are accompanied by an adult so that they feel comfortable in the new environment. For older children, parents are requested to drop them off in the workshop area and pick them up when the workshop time is over.

Registration Rules:-

1. The organizing committee reserves the right to admission.

2. You need to register to enter the carnival. Entry ticket is compulsory for all who enter the carnival. Children under 2 are free. The entry fee is Rs. 50/person.

3. The last date for paid workshop registration is 16th Dec 2023. Post that only on-spot registrations would be open subject to the availability of seats. We have very limited seats for each workshop to offer a better experience.

4. We request you kindly register online to avoid chaos on the spot. Once you register online, a unique ID will be sent via mail, you are requested to present this at the main registration desk on the event day.

5. Entry registration only ensures your entry to the carnival. For participating in various activities and paid workshops you need to register for them separately. Tickets once bought are non-refundable.

6. We request you kindly gather at the respective workshop point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled time.

7. Each workshop is age-specific. Please check the eligible age for each workshop before registering.

8. Each parent is responsible for their child at all times and keeping child safety in mind no child under 18 would be allowed to enter without a caretaker/ adult accompanying them.

9. We request you carry your water bottles.
