Fort Tikona, situated near Pune, Maharashtra, is a historic hill fortress known for its panoramic views and ancient ruins. Popular among trekkers, it offers a scenic trek with a mix of nature and history, featuring a Trimbak Darwaja and a captivating lake.

Reporting Place: Good Luck Chowk, Deccan

Itinerary

0600: Report at Good Luck Chowk, Deccan.

0730: Reach base camp and have freshly cooked breakfast. 

0815: Post briefing and instructions start the climb to Tikona.

1030: Reach the top of Tikona. Explore the view of Sahyadri’s various forts

1130: Proceed to the base village for lunch.

1300: Enjoy delicious lunch. 

1430: Depart to Pune.

1600: Halt for evening tea.

1700: Reach Pune.
