Session #1: Bootstrapping a Tester’s journey.

Have you ever felt stuck and considered changing your career path as a tester, because your opinion didn’t matter , or the popular opinion was “anyone can test !” ?

I have felt stuck in this endless “loop” many times in my career. What was refreshing to learn was that even if I played other roles on the team, I would still get stuck in the loop. I have missed opportunities and epically failed because I did not have the right tools, attitude, or mindfulness to unstuck myself.

So, what does it take to bootstrap yourself? I found that at the core of it, there are 5 concepts that you need to keep building upon as you grow in your career. In this keynote, Aprajita will share these 5 bootstrapping concepts: how to use them, and how to keep building upon them so you can continue to grow into the next level and deliver to the best of your abilities.

Session #2: Your personal ChatGPT - Power of RAG

RAG, or Retrieval-Augmented Generation, is one of the most widely utilized techniques in the AI landscape, addressing a variety of use cases ranging from natural language processing to knowledge retrieval. In this talk, we will delve into the fundamentals of RAG, providing a comprehensive understanding of how it works and its practical applications. Attendees will learn about the basic implementation of RAG in different scenarios, which can significantly enhance the performance of AI systems by combining the strengths of retrieval-based and generative models. Additionally, we will cover the basics of embedding techniques, which are crucial for transforming data into a format suitable for RAG, enabling more effective information retrieval and processing. By the end of the session, participants will be equipped with the foundational knowledge needed to leverage RAG in their own projects.

Key Takeaways:
1. Understanding RAG: Gain a solid grasp of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, its components, and how it enhances AI capabilities.

2. Implementation Insights: Learn the basic steps to implement RAG in various applications, boosting both efficiency and accuracy.

3. Embedding Techniques: Discover the fundamentals of embedding, essential for optimizing data retrieval and integration within RAG frameworks.
