Route of the trip: Bengaluru – Bhadra – Jogfalls – Karwar – Dandeli – Hampi – Bengaluru (1296 km approx)

Short Itinerary

Day 0 : Bengaluru Arrival

1. The participants arrive in Bengaluru before the departure day.

2. Overnight stay arrangements in Bengaluru to be made by the participants.

Day 1 : Journey from Bengaluru to Bhadra | (280 km, 5 – 6 hrs Approx)

1. Assemble at KSTDC Office in Yeshwanthpur at 5:00 AM.

2. Meet the team captains and a small tour briefing session will be conducted.

3. The bikers will be allotted their respective bikes for the ride.

4. Start the journey to Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary.

5. Stop for breakfast (Unlimited on Food Menu) enroute.

6. Reach JLR property in Bhadra and Check-In to your rooms around 1:30 PM.

7. Have a delicious Lunch Buffet

8. Get ready for a Boat/Jeep Wildlife Safari in Bhadra Wildlife Sanctuary. (Timings: 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM)

9. Evening Hi-Tea & Snacks

Day 2 : Journey from Bhadra to Jogfalls | (139 km, 3 – 3.5 hrs Approx)

1. Wake up call at 5:30 AM and assemble for another Boat/Jeep Wildlife Safari (Timings: 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM)

2. Return back from Safari and have your breakfast.

3. Check-out from the property at 10:00 AM

4. Start the journey to the highest plunge of Karnataka – Jogfalls.

5. Reach JLR property near Jogfalls and Check-In to your rooms around 1:30 PM.

6. Have a delicious Lunch Buffet

7. Time for some relaxing water activities (Kayaking/boating/coracle ride) at Sharavathi Backwaters. (Timings: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM)

8. Evening Hi-Tea & Snacks

Day 3 : Journey from Jogfalls to Karwar | (169 km, 4 – 4.5 hrs Approx)

1. Wake up call at 6:00 AM and assemble for Jogfalls visit on Jeep (Timings: 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM)

2. Return back and have your breakfast.

3. Check-out from the property at 10:00 AM

4. Start the journey to our private beach property in the coastal town – Karwar.

5. Reach JLR property office and take a boat ride to the resort.

6. Check-In to your rooms and have a delicious Lunch Buffet

7. Enjoy Leisure time/Water Activities – Jet Ski, Banana Boat, Speed boat (Self Sponsored) at the private beach.

8. Beach side campfire & Hi-Tea with Snacks for the evening.

9. Dig into authentic Dinner Buffet

Day 4 : Journey from Karwar to Dandeli | (105 km, 2.5 – 3 hrs Approx)

1. Enjoy the morning on the private beach or boat ride/nature walk (if time permits)

2. Return back and have your breakfast.

3. Check-out from the property at 10:30 AM

4. Start the journey to Adventure destination Dandeli.

5. Reach JLR property and and Check-In to your rooms around 1:30 PM.

6. Have a delicious Lunch Buffet

7. Gear up for a thrilling White Water Rafting of 9-10 km at the Kali River.

8. Return back and enjoy campfire, Hi-Tea with Snacks for the evening.

9. Dig into authentic Dinner Buffet

Day 5 : Journey from Dandeli to Hampi | (243 km, 5.5 – 6 hrs Approx)

1. Wake up call at 6:30 AM and assemble for Coracle Ride in Kali River to spot some crocodiles (Timings: 7:30 AM – 8:30 AM)

2. Return back and have your breakfast.

3. Check-out from the property at 10:30 AM

4. Start the journey to the Heritage town of Hampi.

5. Have a Lunch enroute.

6. Reach JLR property and Check-In to your rooms.

7. Relax for the evening or go for hike to Anjanadri Hill (optional)

8. Hi-Tea with Snacks for the evening.

Day 6 : Explore the Rich Heritage of Hampi

1. Wake up call at 7:00 AM

2. Have your breakfast and get ready to explore the historical marvels of Hampi

3. Heritage in Hampi concentrates on the architecture and history of the Vijayanagara Empire that will be explained by a certified guide who will accompany us.

4. To name a few marvelous monuments visited during the tour are: Virupaksha Temple, Vittala Temple, Stone Chariot, Hazara Rama Temple, Elephant Stables, Royal Enclosure, Lotus Mahal, Hampi Bazaar, Lakshmi Narasimha Temple, Ganesha Temple, etc

5. Return back to the hotel for lunch buffet.

6. Continue the heritage tour exploring some more beautiful monuments till evening.

7. Return back to the hotel with enhanced knowledge of the rich history of Hampi.

Day 7 : Journey from Hampi to Bengaluru | (360 km, 5.5 – 6 hrs Approx)

4. Start the return journey to Bengaluru.

5. En route stop for sumptuous lunch.

6. Reach Namma Bengaluru in the evening (around 7 PM) with memories of a lifetime!

Note: For comfort and safety, we recommend you all to carry your own helmets and riding jacket for the ride. The helmets which we provided would be of standard size.

1. Airport/Railway/Bus Station transfers.
2. Fuel cost for the motorcycles.
3. Additional accommodation/food costs before the start and after the end of the journey or due to any delay in travel.
4. Cost of spare parts of the motorcycle which will be used due to accidental damage incurred during the journey.
5. Cost of towing/transfer of the motorcycle.
6. Any motorcycle servicing or maintenance charges.
7. Any extra costs due to flight cancellations, landslides, roadblocks, and other unforeseen scenarios.
8. Water Sports in Karwar Beach.
9. All other paid activities apart from the mentioned activities in the inclusions above.

11. Any type of photography/ videography camera and lens charges wherever applicable.

Advisory

1. You have the option to make your own transportation arrangements (car/motorcycle) to join the event.

3. Monks on Wheels trek leads will have radio communication device as a part of safety measure.
4. Premium accommodation in AC cottages/rooms will be on twin/triple sharing basis. (All JLR properties)
5. A Whatsapp group will be created 5-6 days before the event where all other the necessary information will be provided.
6. We need a minimum of 6 people to conduct the event or the event might be cancelled with full refund.
7. In an extremely rare scenario, due to unforeseen incidents like natural calamities, road blocks etc. or restrictions by the government or forest department, the itinerary might be changed/modified depending on the situation.
8. Age criteria: 13 years and above will be treated as adults ; 6 – 12 years children will be charged at 15% less on the base price per child.
9. Batch Size: Upto 15 pax
10. White Water Rafting at Dandeli is allowed from the age of 13 years and above (ID Proof must)
11. White Water Rafting depends on the water level in the Kali river.
12. There will additional charges for cameras and lenses during safaris depending on the type and size respectively.
13. Do not play loud music or speaking loudly in forest areas which would attract/disturb wildlife.
14. Animals will be in their natural habitat in the wild so Monks on Wheels or any one associated will not guarantee sightings of wildlife at any point of the trip.
15. Drone flying is strictly prohibited in forest areas and heritage places. Please check with the tour coordinator before flying.
16. Pets are strictly not allowed.
17. Dress for comfort. Do avoid bright colours and stick to muted shades of green, black, grey and brown. The more you meld with the background, the better.
18. Avoid smoking in forest areas.
19. Tariff may change without prior notice.
20. Certain activities mentioned in the itinerary are time sensitive. Please maintain time where its necessary to have a hassle-free experience.
21. All activities to be done under expert supervision.
22.  Valid Driver’s license and either Aadhaar Card or Passport for ID proof.
23. A consent letter/disclaimer will have to be signed by all the participants before starting the event.

Rules and Instructions of the Ride:

Only motorcycles of 200cc and above are allowed.

Helmet is Mandatory for both Rider and pillion.

Riding gears are highly recommended.

Drink and Drive strictly prohibited.

Ride coordinator will be assigned. All the riders have to follow the coordinator.

All riders need to get and have valid driver’s licenses and vehicle documents.

Make sure your bike is serviced and in good condition.
