TEDxSRCC

A pinch of Philosophy. A tablespoon of Science. A dash of Art. Sprinklings of Design. Toppings of Humour. TEDxSRCC presents to you, the first ever TEDx event held at the undergraduate level in SRCC, on the theme Food for Thought, powered by Mentos – “Dimag ki batti jala de”.

Started in 1984, TED today shares ideas from a broad spectrum — from science to business to global issues — in more than 100 languages. TEDx was created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “Ideas Worth Spreading.” It supports independent organizers who want to create a TED-like event in their own community.  

TEDxSRCC is scheduled for 28th October 2015 at Alliance Française, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. At TEDx events, there is a combination of live presenters and screening of TEDTalks videos – which sparks deep conversation and connections.

The speaker line-up ranges from Celebrity Chef, Nita Mehta to Actor and Assistant director, TVF Pitchers, Naveen Kasturia, to Founder of online portals Naukri.com and jeevansaathi.com, Sanjeev Bikhchandani, Co-founder of ThinkScream, Raj Desai, the man who made it possible get WiFi every time one used a dustbin at music festivals. That’s not all; the day will include a performance by a contemporary puppeteer as well.
