About TEDxIITIndore:
A TEDx event is a local gathering where live TED-like talks and videos previously recorded at TED conferences are shared with the community. IIT Indore brings to you, TEDx "Ideas worth spreading" as an initiative to celebrate the ideas from all diameter of the planet and help them grow and inspire.

Theme:
The theme for this year's edition of TEDx IIT Indore is "Breaking Barriers". If there were no barriers, would it be a story worth telling? Barriers exist in all forms. But what is common amongst all these is that they are hard to cross. Only those with true courage, determination, and hard work are able to jump across these and get their names inscribed in gold. We aim to bring together all those who went an extra mile in what they did, despite of all the barriers and crossroads they came across.

Our Speakers:
Our speakers not only have commendable knowledge in their field of work but a remarkable journey to recite. Whether or not they are popular, they are superstars in their own way. The speaker's panelist is as follows:

• Mr. Achanta Sharath Kamal, Professional Indian table tennis player (Current World Rank: 32).

• Mr. Divyanshu Damani, Entrepreneur, social media influencer, public figure.

• Mr. Satish Dua, Lieutenant General Satish Dua, PVSM, UYSM, SM, VSM is the current Chief of Integrated Defence Staff to the Chairman Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Indian Armed Forces. 

• Mr. Ashish Jaiswal, Author of international bestsellers "Fluid", "True Dummy" and "How to reform a business school". He holds a doctorate and a master’s in the field of education from the University of Oxford and is currently a research fellow at the Oxford Centre for Higher Education Policy Studies (OxCHEPS).

• Dr. Prasun Chatterjee, Specialist and Assistant Professor of Geriatrics Department, AIIMS New Delhi.

• Ms. Anika Pandey, an Impact investor, and Social Entrepreneur is an SRCC grad and Ex-Goldman Sachs employee.

• Ms. Neeti Leekha Chhabra, Founder & President of NGO Yes to Life; Faculty-HR & OB; Corporate Trainer; Motivational Speaker.

• Ms. Rinku Sawhney, Success coach from over a decade.

• Mr. Swami Prem Parivartan, aka Peepal Baba, founder of "Give Me Trees" NGO, holds the record of planting more than 1 crore peepal trees.

Instructions for attendees:

• We have two options for tickets:

           1. Priced at INR 500/- exclusively for IIT Indore student community. (Lunch is not included with the ticket)
           2. Priced at INR 750/- for regular attendees. (Lunch will be included with the ticket)

• These tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable under any circumstances.
• Regular attendees must bring a proof of identity card to get entry into the institute.
• There is special discount of 54% only for school students. School students only have to bring their original school's identity card along with them. Please contact us for the same.
• Please note that IIT Indore students are required to register through institute email address only and must bring Original IIT Indore ID Card at the venue, failing which you will be asked to pay the remainder of the amount i.e. Rs. 250/-
• You will need to report to the venue by 9 AM sharp.
• Use of mobile or camera for taping the talks, videography or photography is strictly prohibited. In case anyone is caught, he/she will not be allowed to attend the rest of the event.
