History has been evident of the fact that Nagpur has not just been the geographical Centre of India, but also a centre of ideas worth spreading!
Nagpur's history can be traced back to 8th Century BC and it has shared an unfathomable emotion since then.
Ambazari Lake, being a prominent lake of the city, represents Nagpur and its availabilities. It also throws light on how city's lakes have now been diminishing.
The name TEDx Ambazari Lake has thus been chosen to celebrate Nagpur - both with its virtues and vices!
Ambazari Lake has been developed as an important tourist attraction in Nagpur amongst the visitors and is known for the recreational activities. It is famous for being the largest of the eleven lakes in the city of Nagpur and is surrounded by mango trees, hence named as Ambazari. Adjacent to the lake, the garden is spread across 25 acres of land. Its rich biodiversity captivates the hearts of nature lovers.
Also, Ambazari Lake being the largest lake of Nagpur, which was built by the Bhonsales, had facilitated water supply throughout the city.
TEDx Ambazari Lake will give us an opportunity to create a truly unique event that will unleash new ideas, inspire and inform and will enable us in celebrating Nagpur and all its availabilities.
