About the storytellers:
Shilpa Mehta
Shilpa Mehta, a Jaipur-based educator, author, and bilingual storyteller, has over two decades of experience. A certified storyteller from Kathalaya, she shares captivating tales across history, mythology, folktales, and her own works in Hindi and English.
She has performed at major festivals like the Korea International Storytelling Festival and Jaipur Literature Festival Outreach and contributes to initiatives like Talking Stories Radio and Pratham Books. Through her YouTube channel, Shilpa Story Rack, and workshops, she continues to inspire and enchant audiences of all ages.
Vartika Gupta
Vartika Gupta brings over a decade of experience in consulting psychology, arts-based therapy, drum circles, and storytelling. She holds a Master's in Psychological Counseling from Christ University, Bangalore, and is a certified arts-based therapist from WCCLF, Pune.
Specializing in the intersection of art and impact, Vartika uses storytelling and drama in her therapeutic sessions to help adults and children foster self-understanding, step out of their comfort zones, enhance self-expression, and boost self-confidence.
She believes in and uses the elements of expression, movement, and storytelling to transform lives.
