Event Description:

Join us for a full day of conservation and adventure at Takmak Fort! As part of the Guardian of Nature Cleanup Drive, we’ll trek to this historic 12th-century fort nestled in the dense forests of Vasai, where we’ll work together to remove litter, clean cisterns, and restore trails. This event is perfect for those passionate about environmental conservation and historical preservation.

Itinerary:

 • 5:00 AM: Departure from Outplay Sports Foundation, Kandivali.

 • 6:30 AM: Arrive at Sakwar Village, Thane (base village).

 • 7:00 AM: Begin trek to Takmak Fort.

 • 10:00 AM - 12:00 AM: Conduct cleanup activities at key areas such as cisterns, trails, and observation points.

 • 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Lunch break (please bring your own packed lunch).

 • 12:30 PM - 1:00 PM: Continue cleanup, group activities, and exploration of the fort.

 • 1:00 PM: Start descent from the fort.

 • 3:00 PM: Arrive back at Sakwar Village for transport back to Kandivali; estimated arrival time at Kandivali is 5:30 PM.

What to Bring:

 • Comfortable trekking attire and sturdy footwear

 • Reusable water bottle ( minimum 3 ltr each ) 

 • Packed lunch and snacks

 • Gloves, trash bags, and masks (provided if needed)

 • Hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent
