STHIRA 2024 - the Sustainable Food Innovation Challenge, hosted together by foodwize and University of Gastronomic Sciences of Pollenzo, Italy, is the first of its kind for university students in India, who care about the future of food and the planet. It aims to discover new ideas and solutions to the most pressing challenges affecting the security and sustainability of food systems and inspire future professionals by engaging them in a new, and thought provoking exercise.
The finale of STHIRA 2024 is being held on 5 October in Bengaluru. 10 finalist teams from universities all over India and from different streams of education will present their innovative ideas to shape a more resilient and sustainable future of food. Do come, to listen to their ideas about improving soil health and the quality of food, protecting biodiversity, developing stronger supply chains for small and artisanal growers and producers, reimagining food education and sustainable packaging.
Lunch will be served from 11:45 AM-12:45 PM, followed by finalist presentations.
