This theme focuses on how innovation in technology is radically transforming the way businesses perform software testing. Quality assurance (QA) is a significant gatekeeper for businesses to ensure their products meet quality standards before being pushed to end-users. For the fast-changing culture and technology landscape which comprises of Agile and shrinking release cycles, QA teams are required to think more creatively and realistically than ever before. Teams have already started getting involved from the initiation phase of the project and adopted a ‘Shift-Left’ approach while mitigating risks related to quality, security and usability in software engineering. The roles extend beyond the traditional margins of QA. Furthermore, with the innovation of technology, Artificial intelligence (AI) is now radically transforming our mindsets towards more comprehensive and effective solutions to ensure that digital products meet the demanding quality standards.
