Sparkling Purushwadi

Fireflies are beetles with bio-luminescence character. Millions of fireflies gather at this village every year just before monsoon; the beautiful fireflies festival celebrated at Purushwadi.

Inclusions :

1. Accommodation in Tents/Homestay sharing basis. (Purushwadi is an eco-tourism village and separate rooms/hotel accommodation is not available)

2. Transportation from Kasara to Kasara.

3. Typical rural veg meals on tour. (Evening snacks, dinner, breakfast & lunch)

Itinerary:

DAY-1 (9th June)

02:00 PM - Assemble at Kasara station

02:00 PM - Start journey towards Purushwadi by Private vehicle

03:00 PM - Reach Purushwadi and freshen up.

03:30 AM – Engage is various rural activities (i.e cutting woods, farming, using handmills, etc)

05:00 PM – Evening snacks & have some rest

07:00 PM – Head on outside to watch those mesmerizing fireflies & know a various thing about them along the way

09:00 PM – Head back & Have delicious dinner.

10:00 PM – Good night sleep

DAY-2 (10th June)

07:00 PM – Wake up, freshen up & Head outside to explore trails around the village or head on towards river stream & have fun.

09:00 AM – Have breakfast

09:30 AM – Engage in rural activities

11:00 AM – Have Lunch & depart towards Kasara

12:30 PM – Reach Kasara & start train journey towards Mumbai

Things To Carry :

• Snacks for interim & Water bottle [at least 2 liters] while traveling compulsory.

• Good trekking shoes, socks, slippers, etc

• Windcheater, Raincoats, Poncho, toiletries, etc

• Energizers (Electral / Glucon-D) and personal medication (if any).

• Camera (Optional).

• Please do carry a change of clothes with you.
