Event Information

Sharavathi is the island disconnects everything and rewinds our minds with the glory of nature. It has the most beautiful range of hills which are a bridge between the dense Sharavathi Valley and the backwaters. Its and true Island camping destination of the western ghats. Sharavathi river valley is something that can be considered to be an ecological paradise.

INCLUDED:

Transportation Accommodations basic campsite (tents and sleeping bags provided)

Meal: 2 breakfast, 1 lunch, 1 dinner Forest Guide, permission & trek coordinators

Bonfire First Aid & entry tickets to jog falls.

NOT INCLUDED:

Water activities / coracle ride charges

lunch/dinner during travel/entry to safari

DEPARTURE:

Friday 9.00 pm

Pickup Points:

Koramangla (Sony junction): 9.00 pm

Domlur junction / EGL park: 9.30 pm

Vivekananda Metro Station: 9.45 pm

Hebbal/Manyatha Tech Park: 10.00 pm

Gorguntepalya Metro Station: 10.30 pm

Note : As its basic amenities campsite, 3-4 washrooms are available at campsite, no hot water facilities, only veg food and strictly no liquor.

Itinerary:

Day 0

Journey from Bangalore

Take an overnight journey from Bangalore on friday.

Day 1

Reach campsite 6am, Get fresh, have breakfast and head out for the trek to have a spectacular view of sharavathi backwaters and linganamakki dam.

Head back to the campsite for lunch (pure homemade veg food).

After lunch have a short break and start trek to sunset point and back to campsite 7.00 pm, for Coffee/tea with snacks, tent pitching, campfire followed by dinner, and retire for the day followed by bonfire.

Day 2

Return and Departure

Get freshen up, have breakfast visit to water activities, visit jog falls & Lion/Tiger Safari @Shimoga. Start return journey to bangalore.

Reach bangalore 9 – 10 pm.
