Scratch 3.0 Online Course - Intermediate Level

In Coding with Scratch 3.0 (Intermediate), we go up one notch in our Coding skills. We introduce the idea of flowcharts, advanced Conditionals, advanced Loops, Variables and Decomposition with Classes. At the end of the course, students will be able to handle events better. Students will create games that their friends can play. Students will create projects to solve real-world problems.

Scratch is a block-based visual programming language developed by MIT designed for children aged 7 and above. You can use it to create games, animations and even your own interactive stories. This easy drag and drop interface makes it easy for kids to learn how to code even though they are not as proficient with a keyboard yet. Scratch 3.0 is the next generation of Scratch – designed to expand how, what, and where you can create with Scratch. It includes dozens of new sprites, a totally new sound editor, and many new programming blocks. And with Scratch 3.0, you are able to create and play projects on your tablet, in addition to your laptop or desk computer.
