Sandhan valley is known Wonder of nature & splendid of Sahyadri (Western Ghats). Water carved valley of 200 ft. deep and about 1.5 long. Sandhan valley is located on the west side of beautiful Bhandardara region, near Samrad village. Valley surrounded with mighty Alang, Madan & Kulang (Known as AMK- toughest trek in Sahyadri) Ratangad, Ajoba & Kalsubai (5400 ft. highest peak in Maharashtra) mountain ranges.

Brilliant & deep narrow rock floored ravine between the two high walls of mountain range. At some places its width is less than 3 ft. so that at some places sun rays unable to reach. So it’s called valley of shadow. To go at end side of gorge you have cross 2-3 water pools, water level changes according to seasons, in winter it is up to waist & in summer it is up to knee height. At the end of valley you get magnificent view of high cliffs & deep valleys.

Major Attractions:

Mesmerizing view of the huge shadow valley while trekking Trek in the shadow of the valley. This trek does not an ascend, keep descending throughout the trek Rappelling down a rock patch Camping at the end of the first day small pond to spend some time by the side.

01.40 Am: - Start the Journey to the Base Village by Private Vehicle

04.30 Am: - Reach the Base Village

05.30 Am: - Wake up Call, Get Freshen

06.30 Am: - Have Breakfast & Tea

07.00 Am: - Start the Trek (Introduction round, brief on rules and regulations to be followed by everyone on the event. Enjoy trekking; at 4ft deep water patch approx. 30m length, descending on the rock patches, rappelling 50ft. down on a rock patch, etc. All this only adds to the thrill of the whole exploration.)

12.30 Pm: - Take a halt for the Lunch

05.00 pm: - Reach Campsite. Get Fresh

08.00 Pm :- Have Dinner

10.00 Pm :- Fun Time & Rest for the Day

05.30 Am :- Wake Up (Get Fresh & Have Breakfast)

07.30 Am :- Start the normal walk towards Dehene

09.30 Am :- Reach Dehene

09.45 Am :- Start the return journey to Aasangaon

11.00 Am :;- Reach Aasangaon Station

01.30 pm :- Reach Mumbai Tentatively

And a haversack or backpack to put all the above things to be carried, so hands are

free to help each other while trekking.

Sling bags / jholas / trolley bags etc. not allowed on the event. Please pack accordingly

A basic toilet facility will be available at the base village.

We advise participants to not opt such event with any medical issues.

We don't recommend participants to reach the base village with own vehicle as

considering complicated route & respecting everyone's time.

Smoking/drinking/ Smoke up is strictly prohibited during the event. Anyone found will be expelled

from the event immediately.

Trek Leader decision will be final & the argument will be entertained.

Participants Safety is the prime concern for us and will not compromise for the same.

Trek India is not responsible for any baggage or personal belonging loss/damage and

participant are responsible for the same.

Don't except VIP or Luxurious treatment, as we are going for the Trekking/camping, so be adventures and free.

We all are going for an adventurous and exciting trekking expedition; please Do Not misinterpret it as a PICNIC or LEISURE TOUR

In case of any unexpected change in weather or other unforeseen situations that are beyond our control and due to which camping may not be feasible, the operator will try their best to make alternate stay arrangements in the nearby homestay OR village (subject to availability).

If the event is cancelled we will refund Trek Amount Only.
