PURPLE CASSETTE and DIRTY CLASS

(Purple Cassette) - Originally formed as a solo project in the Boroughs of New York City, Purple Cassette expanded to become a band which aimed to combine the brash, manic energy of early 2000s Garage Rock with the smooth psychedelic synth sounds of the 60s and 70s. Now based in New Delhi, and having played venues in America and India, Purple Cassette is ready to build on the unique sounds explored by their influences, The Strokes, The Hives, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Velvet Underground, Queens of the Stone Age, to create a brand new sound.
