About Product Design Launchpad
Product Design Launchpad is about enabling new problem solvers with the knowledge and tools required to build world-class products. We believe that surrounding yourself with the community that truly understands and appreciates design can be key for growing as a designer. A design community helps you to encourage and learn new things and also, aims at sharing the knowledge.

The whole program will be divided into 8 sessions in which we will be going from the User Research to the Usability Testing.
A little bit about the Mentor
Rohan Mishra is a Product and UI/UX Designer focused on creating digital experiences that make people's lives easier around digital products. Rohan is also an international Design speaker and a Design Mentor. Currently leading Go Out, Support and Reviews product designs at Zomato.
About the program
The program will be of 4 months with 8 offline sessions. In every in-person session, there will be one topic of design that will be discussed, and hands-on activity included. We will be going from finding the neede and problems from the users by user research to coming up with a problem statement to solving it through product thinking then bring it to wireframes taking it to the digital design and finally doing usability testing with the users. So, yes a complete product design cycle.

Session #2- User Research and Design Hygiene

How to effectively conduct user research to understand the user’s pain points and needs? Learn about the user research and how to do it with almost zero cost of operation. This can help you decide what to build, get feedback from the market about whatever you are building is adding value to the user’s life or not, Prioritise your focus, and most importantly are people going to pull up their wallet for your products?
Session #3- Product thinking (What to build and How?)

You have done the research and now you know the major pain points you are about to address, but then you can solve the problems in many ways. But, which solution is best for your users, and your business, but also what our engineering teams can build faster? Which can work well with your Agile and Lean software development methodologies?
Session #4- UX Tools and Techniques (User Journeys, Wireframes, Personas)

Learn hardcore design techniques to solve problems, build usable and intuitive product solutions. Building interactions before interfaces, by making user journeys, wireframes and doing paper prototypes that could be the first level to get real feedback from the users.
Sessions #5- UI Design, Visual Design, Prototyping, using Figma and Usability Testing Techniques

Sessions #8- Connecting the dots for building world-class products

This session will be about everything we have done and learned so far. So, we will be discussing how to use Product Design Methodologies in designing products but also how to land a dream design job, build an intuitive product of your own, and how to solve big problems with the design.
