Pop-Up with a Purpose - Rediscover Rice

foodwize Pop-Up with a Purpose is a learning and dining experience - for everyone - to learn and to reaffirm that eating is not only an act of enjoyment and nourishment but, one that is deeply connected with the earth and with the people who grow food.

The 11th edition called Rediscover Rice will shine a light of the revival of heirloom rice varieties, underway across many parts of India. Over a 4-5 course lunch curated with seasonal, local, chemical free ingredients, participants will learn about and relish different varieties of indigenous rice grown across the state of Tamil Nadu, each of them distinct in their resilience, nutritional qualities and flavour. 

It is a 2 hour experience, suitable for anyone. Participants will make the most of the experience in groups - friends, family, teams but, they will find it just as enjoyable and insightful on their own.
