Anjali Bhagwat came into light in 1999, when she became the first Indian woman to win 3 golds and 1 silver in Commonwealth Games. She was the first Indian to win Gold at ISSF World Cup and first Indian to reach the final at the Olympics.
She became a role model not just for the shooters but also the entire country. Anjali kept on expecting much more from herself and kept pushing the bar higher.
Women in Sport, India talks to Anjali, about her life as a shooter. We enter her world and explore it deeper. We talk to her about her achievements, most memorable experiences, and her fears as well. We try to find answers to ‘What makes an athlete?’ Join us on our journey to explore the world of Anjali Bhagwat, on 14th June, at 6pm.
All registered users will receive an email with the joining link, an hour prior to the event at the latest.
