ITINERARY Jagannath Puri Chariot (Rath yatra), Konark Temple Photo Tour

Day 1(18th Jun 2023) Bhubaneswar-Puri:-

Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station, transfer to Puri & en-route visit to Dhaulagiri(isone of the famous Buddhist destinations in India, where Mauryan Emperor Ashoka renounced the path of violence and embraced Buddhism, after witnessing the devastation of Kalinga war& also known as “Peace Pagoda, Pippli(Applique work village), Sakhi Gopal Temple, check into the Hotel, take dinner & overnight stay at Puri. 

Day 2(19th Jun 2023) Puri-Konark-Bhubaneswar:-

After early breakfast drive to Konark & en-route visit to Ramchandi Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach(cultural and traditional identity of Orissa, which is famous for its long stretch of golden sand bordered with casuarinas),  Sun Temple(The temple was built by King Narasimhadeo in the 13th century, it is counted among the 7 wonders of India, famous for world heritage site & also known as“Black Pagoda) and then drive back to Puri Hotel. Evening 1 hour session on Photography with our Professional photographer Mr.Sandeep Rasal. Later have dinner & overnight stay at Puri.

NOTE:- 1 Day before Ratha Yatra festival vehicle may NOT be allowed inside Puri and in such case guests have to walk and go to the Hotel.

Day 3(20th Jun 2023) Puri-Konark-Bhubaneswar:-

Today we start early in the morning after breakfast to experience one of the world renowned and only place to experience Jagannath Puri Chariot Festival. There will be rush of Millions of people lined up in front of Chariots we will have pre-arranged strategic point to photograph the Chariot Festival for intial timing. Chhera Pahara takes place, it is performed by the royal successor of Orissa. The King himself sweeps the chariot with a broom that has a golden handle and brought idols from the temple and is placed on the Chariot. Later he decorates idols with flowers and the procession starts there many in between things happen worth photographing though these are the highlights. Later we will have to get down on the street in between crowed to photograph the moods of festival, people and colorful dancers and artists etc upclose and diferent angle of the chariot that is been pulled. Chariot procession starts from Puri temple to Gundecha temple which is 3km approx and the entire street is crowded.

Day 4(21st Jun 2023) Puri-Bhubaneswar-Departure:-

After breakfast checkout from the Hotel and then drive to Bhubaneswar to drop at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with sweet memories of Odisha.
