Painting workshop on Vincent Van Gogh

Explore the magic of spring through the eyes of Vincent Van Gogh!

This workshop will begin with a brief visual presentation on the Van Gogh’s works which is his style of painting, bold use of colors & technique followed by a guided process comprising of sketching and composition of a landscape referenced from a photograph depicting spring season with emphasis on bold strokes and spontaneity in composition.

Participants will sketch one the Van Gogh’s landscape on the canvas and they will be guided on to paint in an expressive color palette with bold strokes while discovering their individual artistic temperament with a thrust on self-expression.

This painting workshop is open to anyone interested regardless of any prior painting experience.

The workshop will be led by Renu S a visual artist and mentor from MS University, Baroda. Over the past 15 years she has participated in many exhibitions in India and abroad.

Participant will be given brushes, oil paints, canvas broads, palettes & photo references). Participant will have to get their own pencil, sharpener, ruler/scale & easer.
