One Day Trek to Kalavantin Durg

Overview:

Kalavantin Durg is situated on northeast side of Panvel, on Mumbai-Pune Highway. Can see it from Express Highway, A V shaped one. The left one is Kalavantin Durg and right one is Prabalgad.

The fort commands excellent view of the surroundings with Prabalgad in the front and Matheran, Chanderi, Shrimallang, Irshal Karnala, Manikgad can be easily seen and identified.

Endurance Level: Easy to Medium

Iternary:

08.00 am: Start from Panvel Railway Station to base village by private jeep

09.00 am: Reach base village

09.30 am: Start ascend towards Kalavantin.

11.30 am: Reach plateau. Rest for a while and have snacks.

12.00 pm: Start final ascend to Kalavantin

01.30 pm: Reach top, explore and photography and have refreshments

02.00 pm: Start Descend

03.00 pm: Reach Plateau and have lunch. Rest.

04.00 pm: Final Descend to Base

05.00 pm: Start our journey back to Panvel station and reach station by 6 pm

 

Includes:

All Transportation, Non-AC from Panvel station to Panvel station.

For Trekkers joining from Pune, can wait on  Panvel Highway. Will pick them from Highway and drop at Highway for ease of access.

As a safety measure keep your near and dear ones informed and also share your details and you emergency contact with us. Wear sport shoes with good grip. Avoid wearing precious jewelleries for trek. Mobile network might not be available as its situated at remote location.

Cancellation Policy:

If cancellation done prior to 7days 90% percent of the amount would be refunded

If cancellation done prior to 3 days 50% percent of the amount would be refunded

If cancellation done after that no refund would be provided.
