One Day beginner level hike to Sondai Fort

About Trek: Sondai fort is located near Karjat and is recommended to the first-timer. From the top of Sondai fort, you get an amazing view of the valley, Morbe Dam, and mountains peaks nearby. The total time duration for this trek is 1.30 hr to 2 hr. on the way to the top, we will cross two ladders and two rocky patches, making this trek stand out from other Sahyadri treks.

05:05 AM: Thakur village (Near Mahindra)

05:15 AM: Andheri near bahar cinema (WEH)

05:25 AM: BKC signal

05:30 AM: Sion Circle

05:40 AM: Ghatkopar Chhedda Nagar (EEH)

06:10 AM: Vashi opposite Inorbit mall

06:30 AM: Kharghar

You will be travel in cab from Karjat railway station to Base village. both group will be merged at Base village.

08:00 AM: We will reach the base fresh up and breakfast. participates who wish to join from the base village can reach here by 8.00 am.

09:00 AM: After group introduction and briefing we will start our hike to Sondai fort

12.00 PM: Reach the top we have free time to click pictures and you get the view of

morbe dam and mountain peaks

01:30 PM: Start descending back to the base village have authentic village food

04:00 PM: Start the return journey to Mumbai. Our return journey also depends on group speed and traffic

09:00 PM: Reach Borivali with the same route your drop will be at the same location

A. You can do that. Once you confirm your booking with us we will send you the exact location where to meet one day before departure

A. Yes, We recommend this trek to 12 to 40 age group

Q. What type of meals will be provided?

A. Yes. All meals provided by us will be homely cooked food. These are made in Maharashtrian style veg meal

Q. We are planning to join this trek in a group. can I expect a discount?

A. Our cost is already very low if you compare it with group size. We at Backpacker Tours don’t work in Quantity. We always preferred and try to enhance participant's experience for which the above-given cost is as low as possible from our side.

A. We will try our best to reach back Mumbai around 6.00 pm. But it also depends on how fast we are completing the trek and starting from the base village also traffic during the journey will play a big role in the pickup and drop location
