Event Information

The OLPS Run is "Open for All" & not restricted only to the OLPS Student/ Alumni.

OLPS Run is an initiative of OLPS Alumni Asssociation .

The Objective of the OLPS Run is :  

  1. To Raise Funds for Key Projects of the School. 

  2. Create a Platform for the Ex Students to Get Together wherein they can :

    1. Meet their teachers. 

    2. Meet their batchmates.

    3. Cherish their School memories.

    4. Network with other OLPS Alumni.

    5. Come with their families & have a great time.

  3. To Create an awarenes of Wellness & orient people to make Fitness as a part of their everyday life.

  4. To Create an atmosphere of positivity in the Society.

  5. To Ensure all the participants have a great Run & have a lot of Fun.

  • Timed BIB for every 5 Kms  Participant

  • Personalised  Digital Timing Certificate for 5 Kms participant 

  • Non Timed BIB for every 2.5 Kms Participant

  • Finishers Medal for every participant.

  • Refreshments for every participant.

  • Water & Energy Drink on the Route.

  • Winner Trophies for Top 3 in 5 Kms in every Age Category .

  • Pre Race Warm Up & Post Race Cool Down Session

 

Rules & regulations

  • In case of minor's registration (below 18 years of age), it is assumed that form is submitted after the consent and under the supervision of parent / guardian.

  • 5 kms distance category is allowed for participants of 13 years and above (Born on or before 27 Jan 2006).

  • 2.5 kms distance category is allowed for participants of all age.

  • 5 kms distance categoriy is competitive and electronic timing chip will be given to all participants.

  • In all competitive distance categories, Prizes will be given to Top 3 male and female in each age category.

  • Race timing will be recorded on Mat-to-Mat basis i.e. your timing starts/stops when you cross start/finish line.

  • Age group of the participant will be selected automatically depending on the Date of Birth.

  • Participant must upload/submit copy of his ID proof for age verification.

  • The participant will have to collect the Race BIB within the defined period and from selected BIB distribution centre only. No request for change will be entertained.

  • Participant must bring below documents for collecting the BIB:

    • SMS received after successful registration / Soft copy of Confirmation Email.

    • Authority Letter for collecting the BIB of any other participant.

  • The BIB allotted to the participant is non-transferable and request for cancellation and thereby, refund will not be entertained.

  • The BIB properly pinned at 4 corners on the front of your T-shirt is compulsory, without which a participant will not be allowed to take part in the event.

  • Snacks and refreshments will be served to all participants after the race. It is compulsory to show BIB for collecting snacks. Without BIB, snacks will not be served.

  • Finishers Medal will be given to each participant in all distance categories after finishing the race. It is compulsory to show BIB for collecting the finisher Medal.

  • The decision of the JURY will be final and binding.

  • The event organiser reserves the right to modify the Date, Venue, Distance, Race Start time and any other changes related to this event at any given point of time.

 

Self Declaration By Participant

By submitting the form, I hereby declare that I am physically fit to participate in this event and have attained all necessary physical examination by a registered medical practitioner. I acknowledge that participating in this event may carry some risk to my health. I release the organizers from any liability or any loss or injury which I may suffer while participating in the race. I have read and understood all the “RULES & REGULATIONS” and all the information provided by me in the registration form is correct. Further, I grant full permission to the organizer and all associated organizations to use all event material including but not limited to photographs and videotape for publicity and advertising purposes without any compensation.
