OCEAN Film Festival of India

OCEAN Film Festival of India is a one-of-a-kind platform that brings together many stakeholders to celebrate the intrinsic connection that the Sea shares with Mumbai City. It is an annual port of call for all the ocean lovers and enthusiasts.

OCEAN Film Festival of India  is the annual arribada of ocean lovers congregating to create bioluminescence of ideas. A rookery that will spawn imagination for exploration and not exploitation.

This one-day festival- where the first half is dedicated the Ocean Film Festival showcasing films from various genre and the second half gets more interesting. Participants can actually get a chance to experience the ocean first hand by getting on a sunset sail across the Gateway of India. 

The Event Day Schedule :

1. 9.00am - 2.00pm : Ocean Film Festival of India at The Mumbai Zoo, Byculla.

2. 4.00pm onwards  : Evening Sailing at The Gateway of India.

This festival is an attempt to re-connect the people of Mumbai to the ocean and our coast in a new way with a vision to drive home the message that – 

‘Ocean is not a huge resource to consume but the last resource to conserve’.
