Nawanagar Nature Club Wildlife Photography Competition And Exhibition - 2023
Nawanagar Nature Club is organizing the 4th National Level Wild Life Photography Competition and Gujarat's largest Wildlife Photography Exhibition. Date: 3rd February 2023, 4th February 2023 and 5th February 2023.
Last date to accept the entries: 31st December 2022
The motive behind this event is:
1. To develop liking in people towards the fauna.
2. Help people see and identify the different species and to encourage the conservation of endangered species.

Guidelines & Rules
- Participation Fee: Rs. 525 /- . Fee will not be refunded in any circumstances.
- Who can participate? Professional or Amateur Photographers from INDIA can participate in the contest.
- Categories: i. Birds ii. Other Wildlife
- Please do not send any portfolios. A participant can however, send six images spread in two categories, depending on their own interest.
- Prizes: Prizes will be given to three best entries from each category.
1st prize is Rs. 25000/- + memento + certificate,
2nd prize is Rs. 20000/- + memento + certificate,
3rd prize is Rs. 15000/- + memento + certificate - Deadline: Entries must be sent latest by 31st December 2022; no entries will be accepted after this time line.
- Participants must upload all the photographs to an album in Google Photos and share the album link.
- As selected photos are to be displayed in exhibition, photos should be uploaded in original quality mode.
- Photograph specification - > 12 inches X 18 inches; > 300 DPI in JPEG format
- What to enter: Originality and creativity are the focal point of the Competition. Participant has to enter maximum six photographs in two categories - i) Birds, ii) Other wildlife.
Photographs of animals or birds in captivity are NOT ALLOWED. Any provocative or objectionable pictures must be avoided. Nest photography or any other photograph that
would have disturbed the subject must be avoided. - Copyright: The photographer has full copyright of his/her own photographs. However, the best images will feature on the web page of the Nawanagar Nature Club and will be
used in the grand award function and exhibitions. All entrants should agree to grant permission to use, submitted work for non commercial and awareness purposes. - Other Important Rules & Declarations:
a. Please do not imprint anything or watermark any of the details in the photograph.
b. All the above mentioned details which are submitted must be true and accurate.
c. Minor colour correction, sharpening and cropping is allowed.
d. Any major changes in the photograph will lead to the picture ineligible for the contest.
e. Any images that show joining of multiple images or having elements of various images is not accepted. These photographs will be ineligible for the contest on discretion of
the committee.
f. Photographs must be originally taken by the participant and must not constitute any infringement or fraud. In any such case that entry would be rejected without any
clarification or notice to the participant/s.
g. The photograph entirely must be a single work of the sender and by submitting a photograph the participant confirms that the work is original and belongs solely to him / her
and no other person or institute.
h. The photograph must not contain any provocative, objectionable or inappropriate content.
i. The Jury's decision will be binding to all contestants. Jury's decisions would be final and they do not owe any clarifications to any participant/s or any others for any of their
decisions.
