FAQ's
1. Is it safe for solo participants?
Yes, it’s safe and comfortable. Mostly 40% of the participants come solo and blend in with the trek leaders and the rest of the group.
2. Is it safe for girls?
Travassa Holidays has a track record of making our trekking/tours events extremely safe for girls. Normally 60 – 75 % of our participants are females.
3. How long is the trek?
Normally it takes three and a half hours to ascend and 3 hours to descend.
4. Why is submitting emergency contact details and KYC information mandatory?
It’s a standard protocol and also a guideline by Govt. of India. We are accountable for every "Human-Body" present on our treks/tours is our responsibility and in case of any unfortunate event, we will be asked by authorities to provide all relevant information about you. In order to comply with the authorities, we have to take authentic information from you. Fake/Incomplete information or non-submission of the details will make your ticket (paid amount) invalid and no refund will be provided in such case. You will not be allowed to participate in the event.
5. What are the compulsory things to carry on the trek?
A.] Please carry 2-3 litres water with glucose D or ORS or electoral, windcheater, Wear good trekking shoes, wear a full t-shirt and track pants.
B.] Sanitizer, Breathable face mask and gloves.
6. Are washrooms available during the trek?
No washrooms are available during the trek. However, you can use the washroom near the base point.
7. Is Jain food available on this trek?
Yes, we do arrange Jain food for the trek (on request).
8. Can we bring our vehicle to the base village and is parking available?
Parking is available at base point, Parking fee may be applicable (not included in the package), Car owners parks at own risk.
9. Will we reach Mumbai on time mentioned?
The time mentioned in the itinerary is approx. However, it totally depends upon the road conditions like heavy traffic or maybe delay due to bus breakdown or bad weather, in that case, the bus will reach late.
10. What will be the maximum no. of Trekkers?
Keeping current COVID scenario in mind, the maximum strength would be not more than 27.
