Nahan X-Country Race 2025

2nd edition of the Nahan X-Country Race on 11th May is an adventurous weekend stay in the Himalayas, approx. 4000feet above sea level, the ideal height recommended for running in hills of Nahan, Distt Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh. Hosted by Ultimate Survival Campsite, Nahan.

Cross-Country has 90% technical trail course. Total ascent and descent in one loop of 15Km will be approx. 575m. Max elevation is 1413m & Min elevation is 1277m.

You will overcome rolling hills and pass through Pine Forest on the outskirts of villages enroute Jamta from Banethi. The terrain will be varied and challenging for everyone.

The cycling route is different from the running route. It is suggested to ride an MTB even if the most the course consists rolling hills paved roads

Participants' Takeaways-

The participants will get an event t-shirt, finisher medal and certificate. Post run hot breakfast will also be served to all the participants.

Medical & Hydration support- Hydration stations, ambulance and mobile support will be available through the course.

Water Stations and other arrangements:

There are 4 water stations on the 5km route. The aid stations will have first-aid, water, energy drink and race related snacking items.

There will be Km markers and volunteers to guide you at every turn. The route is clean, green and traffic free

► 40Km Cyclothon (5:30am start, 18yrs & above, cut off time 3hrs): 3000/-

► 80Km Cyclothon (5:30am start, 18yrs & above, cut off time 7hrs): 4000/-

Riding Rules & guidelines

- Only MTB (mountain terrain bike) are allowed

- E-bikes or Battery powered cycles are not allowed

- You are required to read and agree to the self-safety precautions (will be sent separately by email after registration)

Safety precautions for cycling

- Always wear a helmet while riding a bicycle

- Obey traffic rules at all times

- Wear a reflective jacket/vest if you are riding in low light areas, especially during night time

- Blinking tail lights are very helpful during night rides

- Keep optimum tyre pressure in both the tyres as per the prescribed PSI for your cycle

- Check your brakes and tyre pressure before every ride

- Always carry some cash for emergency

- Fix water bottles cages and carry a bottle of water at all times

- Carry some snacks/fruits if you are riding longer distances

- Keep emergency contacts handy at all times

- Preferably choose well-lit roads with less traffic

- Keep at least two bikes length at the back and one bike length in the sides if you are riding as a group

- Ride as a single queue in narrow lanes

- Learn to fix punctures and carry a puncture kit

# No prizes/ felicitation in case of low participation (5 or less) in gender categories of each distance

# Only the winner will be felicitated if the participation is between 5 and 10.

# Top 3 will be felicitated if the participation size is 11 & above

# Age Category prizes in distance categories where participation is more than 100

Refund Policy-

- In case of cancellation of the event due to reasons beyond our control, alternate options will be offered to registrants to participate in our upcoming events. It means the registration fee is not refundable but can be adjusted in our future events.

- No question asked refund policy: In case, a participant wants to withdraw from the event then he/she should inform the organizers at least 10 days before the event date, at support@coachravinder.com to get a full refund.

Children below 5 years will not be charged and will share the bedding with their parents.

Charges for kids' stay above 5 years will remain same as for adults, per night per child basis.

Stay Cancellation & Refunds-

No question asked 100% refund till 20th April, 50% amount will be refunded till 30th April. No refunds on stay cancellations after 30th April 2025
