MONSOON ON WHEELS 2.0 BY INDIAN CYCLISTS 2020

After the success of Monsoon On Wheels 2021, it's now time once again to be back on the saddle along with some running in the season of rain.

This time you can participate solo as well as as a team of two.

This event shall be conducted in two categories.

1. This is open to all from 8+ years. For 8- 15 years consent of parents is a must. For all 8-15 years kids qualifying km are 200 instead of 300 km.

2. In Monsoon Solo all above 15+ shall be required to complete a minimum of 300km of cycling and only cycling is allowed in monsoon Solo.

3. Minimum considerable cycling per ride shall be 20 km per ride.

4. Minimum days to do cycling shall be 15 days to complete the challenge.

5. Top 3 males and top 3 females shall be awarded a winner trophy.

6. In case of a tie and any other unprecedented event the final decision will be of the organizers.

7. All 50+ participants shall be given a factor of 1.2x to complete with the open male category (15-50 yrs) or open female category (15-50).

8. All 60+ participants shall be given a factor of 1.3x to complete with the open male category (15-50 yrs) or open female category (15-50).

9. On every day one can do a maximum of 2 activities per day but each shall be a minimum of 20 km.

10. All workouts shall be considered only on the strava app. No other app shall be considered.

1. In Monsoon Duo you will be accumulating points along with your partner (Which means you will be a team of two).

2. You can choose your partner but he/she must be from a different state and also the riding city should not be the same.

3. In case you have your partner then fill in the name of your partner in the registration form else we will provide you a partner based on the lucky draw from the registered participants. All have to do registration individually.

4. Duo of Male + Female will get extra 25% points for the total points earned by the female partner.

5. Duo of Female + Female will get extra 25% points for the total points earned by the team.

6. If any partner is 50+ in the team then an extra 20% points earned by him shall be given to the team.

7. If any partner is 60+ in the team then an extra 30% points earned by him shall be given to the team.

8. If any female partner is 50+ in the team then an extra 30% points earned by her shall be given to the team.

9. If any female partner is 60+ in the team then an extra 40% points earned by her shall be given to the team.

10. Total qualifying points will be 700 for Monsoon Duo teams. Every partner has to contribute a minimum of 200 points (either by run or ride) else the team will be disqualified then another partner shall be awarded a medal only if he/she contributed at least 300 minimum points but the team shall not be considered for winning.

11. In monsoon Duo both run and ride are allowed.

12. 1 km run = 3 points, 1km cycling = 1 point. The minimum run per activity is 3 km and the minimum ride per activity is 20 km.

13. For every team minimum points earned by the team are 200 and from cycling is 400.

14. Minimum workout days for an individual shall be 12 days but for the team to qualify total days shall be at least 30 days (including active days of both partners).

15. On every day one individual can do a maximum of 2 activities per day which can be either both running or both riding or one ride and one run.

16. Maximum run per day allowed is 15 km and the maximum cycling allowed is 50 km per day.

16. For earning extra points some tasks shall be given to teams that will not be mandatory but you can do them to get more points.

17. All workouts shall be considered only on the strava app. No other app shall be considered.

1. All qualifiers shall get a beautifully crafted medal, and e-certificate.

2. Top 10 teams shall be rewarded with the highest points earned. Each team shall be rewarded with prizes worth 2000 INR per team including a medal and t-shirt (exclusive for winners).

3. All winner teams shall get trophies (individual basis).

4. All those for whom it would be the fourth event of Indian Cyclists 2020 shall be rewarded with a beautifully crafted CYCLING KING pin.

1. The sole purpose of the event is to promote cycling and sports activity. High-level cooperation is expected from all respected participants. In case of any kind of unfair means, organizers shall disqualify the participant which can not be challenged considering sportsmanship.
