Event Information
The stage is set, the gavel bangs on wood and the court is in session. Can you bring your side the justice it deserves and reign victorious in a tumultuous battle of writs, or will you crumble as objections are hurled in your face? Dhwani '22 Carpe Dictum in association with LITSOCET presents MOCK TRIAL.
Rules and Regulations:
- Registration fee: Rs. 600 per team; Open to all.
- Last date to register: on or before 18 May 2022.
- Register as a team of four members - one lawyer and three witnesses.
- A preliminary round will be conducted to test the teams’ comprehension and spontaneity.
- The final round will have two teams face off in a court setting where they are judged on wit, coherence and creativity.
- Details involving the final round as well as the case packet will be furnished at the event.
- Decisions made by the judge will be binding and contempt of court will be penalised.
