"Knife Skills" is an Academy Award-winning documentary that follows the launch of Edwins, a haute cuisine restaurant in Cleveland, Ohio, staffed almost entirely by individuals recently released from prison. The film offers a unique perspective on second chances, skill development, and the power of purposeful work in reshaping lives. Behavioral Angles Explored in the Film: From a behavioral standpoint, the documentary is a rich study of motivation, skill acquisition, and the power of the environment in shaping human actions. 1. A moderated discussion, led by Project Second Chance, will feature testimonies from ex-convicts in India, sharing their personal journeys of reintegration

2. Audience members will participate in a group activity of creating journey maps of different players in the criminal justice system curated by Agami. These exercises will encourage participants to identify systemic barriers and brainstorm solutions, fostering a more comprehensive view of the justice ecosystem. 

The event will conclude with an informal mixer, creating space for networking, idea exchange, and collaboration among impact-driven participants.
