Markal is a Village in Khed Taluka in Pune District of Maharashtra. Markal hills very close to pune but unexplored. Markal Shiv Mandir trek is the perfect for Beginners, Nature Lovers and Photographers. Enjoy the Farm camping and trail to Shiv mandir.

ROUTE: Pune > Vadgaon Shinde> Markal > Markal Hills

Meeting Point: Lohegaon Bus Stop @ 4 PM Sharp

• Reach Base Village by 5 PM

• Set up tents

• Games, Bonfire, Dinner

• Sunday Wakeup call around 5:00 AM

• Start our Trek to Shiv Mandir

• Breakfast @ base camp

• Start return journey to Pune and by 10:00 AM

(Please note: All the timings mentioned above are based on the previous experiences from the trek. Timings may differ. RNT TREKKERS will NOT be responsible for any deviation from the schedule given above)

BOOKING POLICY:

o Prior confirmation with payment is required by 28 Feb, till 7.30 pm

o Confirmation will be cancelled if payment not received by 28 Feb

o The participant receives a payment invoice via WhatsApp within 24 hours of successful booking

o Water Bottle: A savior in many ways

o Munching Items: Trail Mix, Dry Fruits, Fruits, Laddu’s, etc.

o Daypack or Backpack: Travel Light & Organized

o Trekking Shoes or Hiking Boots: Walk the talk on your Hike or Trek

o Medical Kit: Personal Medicines, if any

o Extra Clothes: A Pair of Extra Clothes (2 extra, 1 night dress)

o Extra Pair of shoes, socks or chappals

o Soft blanket or sleeping bag to keep you warm at night

o Miscellaneous: Swiss Knife, Torchlight or Flashlight (night treks), Cap/Hat, Sanitizers, Masks, Sunscreen, camera, mosquito repellent etc.

DO’S & DON’TS:

 DO NOT throw Garbage & Plastic or litter around or near a water source or on a trek trail

 Use Call sign “Hello” “Oyee” incase if you are not in visible distance to the group

 Alert group against any falling object / rock - Recommended - call sign “Watch Out”

 Avoid wandering alone or click Selfie’s near the edge of an exposed valley

 Do not eat/pluck any fruits from the forest without trek leader’s consent as it could be poisonous

 Do not provoke or harm any animals, birds or honeybees

 Do not jump into a water body without trek leader’s permission

 Smoking & Alcohol consumption is strictly not allowed in any event of RNT TREKKERS
