Majestic Meghalaya

Today we all meet at Guwahati airport and head to our city hotel for check-in. Rest till evening, and we head for a networking dinner where the group is introduced to each other.

Day 2: Guwahati to Shillong

Have breakfast at the hotel & checkout as we start our Meghalaya journey. En route, we will visit the beautiful Umiam Lake. Check-in at your hotel and then move out to explore some quirky cafés, Mary Help of Christians Cathedral and the Police Bazaar on foot. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 3: Dawki & Mawlynnong

Early start today, we take packed breakfast and leave for Dawki. We have all seen the transparent river of Dawki on Instagram & Pinterest, now is the time to tick it off your bucket list. We will also visit Indo - Bangladesh border and finally visit Mawlynnong which is considered to be the cleanest village in entire Asia. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 4: Krang Suri Waterfall

The days start early in the Northeast, so we will have to adjust our sleep cycles and wake up early yet again. Have breakfast and head for Krang Suri. It's roughly a 3-hour road trip and a 30-minute hike to reach the base of Krang Suri waterfalls. We will spend about an hour at Krang Suri, have lunch at a local Dhaba (self-paid) & head back to Shillong. Keep a change of clothes & towel handy. Overnight at your hotel in Shillong.

Day 5: Cherrapunjee & Local Sightseeing

An easy day in comparison to others, we check out post having breakfast and head to one of the wettest parts of India, "Cherrapunjee". We will visit Mawsmai Cave, 7 sister waterfalls view point & Eco-park today before we end the day.

Day 6: Waterfall hopping in Cherrapunji

Life in Meghalaya is almost like hibernating in the monsoon, and we go around the place with only natural beauty for company. The waterfalls which we cover today – NohKaLikai, Wei Saw dong, Lyngksiar Falls & Dainthelin falls. This will be a wet and beautiful day.

Day 7: Living roots "Double Decker" bridge of Cherrapunjee

Post breakfast, check-out & proceed to visit one of the most amazing sights you would ever come across in the living roots double-decker bridge. You would see many suspension bridges on this challenging trek (Approx, 3500 stairs). But well, this effort will be very rewarding. Wear good shoes and comfortable clothes, do not forget to carry some ready-to-eat snacks and water bottles.

Day 8: Laitlum Canyon & Guwahati

Post breakfast, we will head to Laitlum Canyon, en route to Guwahati. Overnight at Guwahati hotel.

Day 9: End of Trip

Check-out after breakfast and get dropped at Airport. Today is the end of your Meghalaya Trip
