A versatile form of fiber art, macramé can be used to make everything. Wall hangings and plant hangers to jewellery, cushion, purses, and even clothing items are few examples. Using simple materials like cotton twine, jute, hemp, drawstring, wool or yarn, macramé can be as simple or complex as the crafter would like.Its is a form of textile produced using knotting techniques. The primary knots of macramé are the square and forms of “hitching”: various combinations of half hitches.
