About the exhibition
Imagine. Imagine that you are staring out of the window of your car, driving by the ocean. The eternal blue of the ocean is becoming one with that of the sky. The lush green of nature is punctuated with lamps every few yards. You see birds flying in the sky. The wind is gushing through your hair like a flute and the poetic scenery spontaneously plays a piece of music in your head. You are in the moment. Embracing life fearlessly, in its unfiltered form.
Imagine, having to imagine none of the above. Imagine someone picked a brush and splattered all your thoughts on a canvas.
As a visual artist, trying to explore the vast variety of art forms and the multitude of inspirations behind them, Shweta takes you through a few of them in this exhibition. The art forms she explores include Palette knife, resin, acrylic and pastels to name a few. You'd witness artworks that showcase a simple yet beautiful moment and you'd witness artwork which makes you explore the artist within yourself. Some paintings are inspired by a visual phenomenon and some are just a portrayal of philosophies like Kintsugi and Enso.
As you step inside, you would enter a realm of arbitrary ideas. A myriad of artwork, portrayed in a variety of forms, inspired by random thoughts. You would enter a world of Lucid Dreams.
