A tour to the Lonar Crater Lake would familiarise you with the fact that this crater was formed by either a comet or asteroid impact. Lonar Crater is one of the most interesting exploration sites in Maharashtra, and in addition to treating one to this unique spectacle, it also offers the chance to bring out the adventurer in you. The entire tour includes trekking, visiting old temples, and places of historical significance.

Brief itinerary:
Day 0 - Friday 9.00PM
Overnight Train journey from Mumbai to Jalna (Devagiri Exp-17057)

Day 1 - Saturday
Reach Jalna at 5:00 AM, and proceed towards Lonar by private transport. On the way have some refreshments/tea. By 8:00 AM reach Lonar and check in hotel. After freshening up, have breakfast and introduction session. After that move towards small trek down to Lonar crater and enjoy bird watching and photography in nearby location. Back to hotel and have lunch. Rest till evening, play group games/gupshup. Enjoy beautiful sunset at Lonar. have relishing tea and snacks, followed by dinner.
Day 2 - Sunday
Early morning wake up call and have breakfast. After briefing about Lonar Crater proceed towards Lonar Parikrama trek. Enjoy the morning sun rays, lush greenery of forest, blue-green water and serene melodies of nature while trekking around the Lonar lake. Don't forget to take lots of photos. Finish Parikrama and explore the Daityasudan Temple and nearby temples & cultural heritage of Lonar. Have Lunch and Leave from Lonar. En-route visit and explore the Rajmata Jijabai Birthplace. Reach Jalna by 7.30 pm. Board Nandigram Express at 8.15 pm from Jalna and reach Mumbai by 5.40 am.
Trip concludes with happy memories:)

4. Good grip quality shoes – Must (Please check soles of your shoes and get them stitched if necessary)

6. Torches (Compulsory)
7. Personal Medication (if any)
8. Toiletries (Napkin, face wash, tissue paper etc.)
9. Cap, goggles, sunscreen, moisturiser, mosquito repellent etc.
10. Winter wear, head wear
