Lalbaugh Photo + History walk

Lalbaugh as an area is set in two worlds. One that is bustling with new estates and sky scrapers that define the MUMBAI of the 21st century. The other, that is home to the Mumbai of the past, filled with stories of Mills, Migration and Mystics. At No Footprints, we have curated an experience that takes you through the journey of the two worlds of Labaugh. Our stories dwell on the history of Lalbaugh that was a humble part of the Parel Island, it’s journey to being the part of Girangaon or the Mill village: which saw a migrations of thousands across the Konkan coast, who now call Mumbai home. To the journey of Lalbaugh of today. We will also walk through the Spice Market and hear stories of spices that are embedded in folklore. We’ll also see the Lalbaughcha Raja, the fish market that sees it origins because of the Raja, the dancing Goddess of Lalbaugh, a Hindu Dargah and many more such interesting trivia.

Post lock-down, we’re super stoked to announce our on-ground tours with proper social distancing measures as made mandatory by the Government of Maharashtra. The safety of our patrons is our topmost priority and hence we expect you to wear a mask and carry sanitisers. We will be restricting our tours to a maximum of 15 guests and will be touring in areas which are not densely populated at the touring hours.

• There will be a tour guide system available with the Tour Leader

• This tour will be conducted with proper social distancing

• All participants need to wear a mask/face shield and carry sanitisers

• If the guest has cold, flu or any symptoms, they need to notify the organisers immediately.
