To organize a trip we need at least 10-12 bookings.

Starting time: Friday night at 9 PM approx

Ending time: Sunday late night around 11.00 PM approx

Stay: At our Homestay or tents or cottages on sharing basis with neat, sanitized & clean basic facilities separate for boys and girls.

Food: 2 Breakfasts, 1 Lunch, 1 Dinner (All Veg included)

Trek difficulty: Moderate-Challenging

Duration of the Trip: 2 Days/1 Nights

Where: Near Kollur, Shivamogga, The amazing Western Ghats of Karnataka

Trek Distance: 14-20 kms Approximate

Trail Type: Dense tropical forests, rocky terrain, and flowing streams

Consumption of alcohol or any other intoxicating products is prohibited during Kodachadri trek shivamogga .

Participants have to pay for the jeep ride, if opted.

Children above 15 years can perform this activity.

The exact pick-up location and time will be confirmed after the booking.

Pay heed to the guidelines given by the trek leader or instructor in order to enjoy a safe and sound trekking experience.

Additional charges to be paid are for the jeep while descending down from the peak: INR 400/-+

Itinerary

Itinerary For Kodachadri Trek

Day 1 – Departure from Bangalore | Trek to Kodachadri Peak 

Here Begins The Journney

Get picked up from various spots for an overnight journey from Bangalore.

Karachi Bakery – Indiranagar @ 9PM 

Domlur Sky Walk – Domlur @ 9.15 PM 

Yeswantpur metro station towards Tumkur @ 10.30 PM – 

People Tree Hospitals-Gorguntepalya @ 10.40 pm –

6:00 AM – Around the time we reach the campsite. Freshen up, and enjoy a delicious breakfast.

8:00 AM – We start the trek to Kumble Village and the Hidlumane Waterfalls – a series of 6 waterfalls, each falling from a height of 50-70 ft!.

Enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the roaring waterfall and the lush green forest!

After some time, we continue the trek up Kodachadri Peak. We will have our packed lunch on the way up!

You will catch glimpses of the flora and fauna of the region. You might even come across a rock python along the way!

Upon reaching the top, take in the magnificent vista of the Western Ghats and the picturesque landscape!

After the sunset, from the top, we start the descent to the campsite. Enjoy your hot snacks and beverages.

In the evening, we will have a fun campfire session and enjoy a delectable dinner before retiring to the tents for the night.

Day 2 – Exploration of Nagara Fort and the return journey

Take up with the sun to take in the mesmerizing sunrise from the mountains!

After a delicious breakfast, pack your bags around 9 AM we start towards the Nagara Fort.

Discover the rustic charm of the fort and explore the surrounding areas, after which we commence the journey back to Bangalore.

After you get dropped back, your journey with us comes to an end.

Strong backpack for trekking

Water bottles are at least 1-2 liters

Extra set of clothes (if necessary)

A Poly Bag to carry your wet clothes back to Bangalore

Sunscreen and sunglasses (optional)

Cap/hat

Toiletries: – comb, towel, soap, tissue paper, Toothbrush and other essentials etc. (if necessary)

Raincoat or a poncho

Personal medication if any

A torch with new batteries (can be managed by mobile light)

One plastic box if you want to carry energy boosters like Chocolate bars, flavored milk, Juice packs, Glucon-D, etc. should keep waste rappers with self, till you reach back to homestay or bangalore, it is necessary to maintain forest cleanliness as a traveler

Sweaters/Jacket to bear the cold weather

It’s mandatory to provide government documents for Trek Permit like voter ID, RationCard, Driving license, PAN card, or Passport.

Choose a Friday Date for Saturday Trek

Cleanliness is our top most priority. So, please do not throw trash out anywhere in the trek place.

As you are exploring nature, don’t expect luxury. Washrooms are only available at the hotel/homestay campsite.

You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destination to destination.

Cancellation Policy:

0-15 Days Before Start Date: No refund will be provided; 100% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

15-30 Days Before Start Date: 50% of the tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees.

Once your refund is initiated, it will be credited to your account within 5-7 working days.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain trips or activities may get cancelled. In such cases, we will try our best to provide an alternative feasible solution. However, a refund will not be applicable for the same.

Cancellations are strictly subject to cancellation policies mentioned on the website & are irrespective of the date of booking.

Terms & Conditions:

Make sure to book your slots before 3 days of departure, if not your bookings will not be accepted.

Our facilities are neat and basic, not luxurious

Our accommodations are many times sleeping bags and Tents, Dormitories, rooms with beds and sometimes just sleeping bags under the glittering sky.

The average level of fitness is required to participate in the trek. We will not be responsible if any participant is unable to get to the summit due to their own limitations.

The food provided will be basic delicious Vegetarian food.

Aranya Adventure shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewelry, etc.

We expect every participant to be responsible for littering. Please keep every place we visit clean.

You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destinations to destinations.

We have designated pick up and drop points, make your own arrangements of transports to the desired pick-up point accordingly.

We may revise the Terms and Conditions from time to time by updating this posting. The revised terms will take effect when they are posted.

Any client consuming alcohol, misbehaving, causing delay during the event will be terminated from the event without any prior warning and no refund will be given. Such clients should arrange their own transport to the way back.

Littering, smoking & consumption of alcohol is banned outdoors or anytime during the trek. We will provide you with a time and place to enjoy your drinks.

In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, certain activities may be canceled and, in such cases, we will try to provide an alternate feasible activity. However, no refund will be provided for the same.

If we cancel the event, we offer a full refund to all the participants.

Cancellation / Refund is done by the third party based on their policies.

Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.

We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue.
