KANPUR HERITAGE RUN

Welcome to the Kanpur Heritage Run! This run is co-organised by the Indian Army and the Cawnpore Club.

Kanpur is not only one of the most historic cities in state of Uttar Pradesh, it is also one of the most important cities in the history of India for the struggle of Independence.

Kanpur Heritage Run has tailored a brand new experience for you to appreciate the heritages and the stories behind them while running.

I sincerely hope that you will enjoy this unique event and have a deeper understanding of the rich history of Kanpur.

The Kanpur City has a rich history, with cultural relics and heritage sites dating back to the Independence struggle of our country. On this meticulously designed route of the Kanpur Heritage Run, you can go through a time tunnel to learn more than a hundred years of history in just two hours!

Our journey begins at the 125 year old Cawnpore Club at the Kanpur Cantonment, and then visits several declared monuments and historic buildings in the city, including the All Soul Church.

There are 4 Distance Category to chose from, Half Marathon and 10KM Challenge along with 5KM Fun Run and 2.4KM Fun Run.

A wide variety of cultural, religious, and art elements along the route is awaiting you to explore. Please enjoy the run!
