Event Overview:

Join us for an adventurous day trek to Kamandurg Fort, an ancient hill fort nestled amidst the lush green ranges of Palghar. As part of the Guardians of Nature initiative, this trek combines the thrill of hiking with the noble cause of promoting eco-responsible tourism and keeping our forts plastic-free.

Kamandurg Fort, though lesser-known, offers panoramic views, serene landscapes, and untouched natural beauty. With steep climbs and rocky trails, it promises an exciting challenge for all nature and trekking enthusiasts.

Through this event, we aim to spread awareness about preserving our heritage sites and minimizing human impact on natural ecosystems.

Itinerary:

05:00 AM:

 • Assemble at Outplay Sports Foundation, Kandivali

 • Registration and briefing

 • Depart for Palghar

07:00 AM:

 • Arrive at the base village

 • Warm-up and stretching exercises

07:30 AM:

 • Begin the trek towards Kamandurg Fort

 • Learn about the history, flora, and fauna along the way

10:30 AM:

 • Reach the summit

 • Quick snack break (participants to carry their own)

 • Form teams and participate in the Guardians of Nature plastic-free drive

11:30 AM:

 • Group photos and sharing session

12:00 PM:

 • Start descending towards the base

02:00 PM:

 • Reach the base village

02:30 PM:

 • Depart for Seva Vivek Kendra

03:00 PM:

 • Enjoy a wholesome vegetarian lunch with chaas

04:00 PM:

 • Begin return journey to Mumbai

06:00 PM:

 • Arrive back at Outplay Sports Foundation, Kandivali
