About This trek-

Naneghat was the toll collection point for all the passes of goods in order to protect upper area from enemies. It was the only commercial pass at that time for nearby areas.

JivdhanGad is a fort near Ghatghar area in Junnar Taluka of Pune district. Height of this fort is 1,145 meters (3,757 feet). The fort was demolished by the Britisher’s between 1815 -1818. This is a beautiful trek but due to the dense jungle at base and narrow rock carved on entrance of both routes, people avoid this trek in Monsoon. Both rock carved entrance is not visible from outside. The main purpose to build this fort was to keep watch on enemies entering from Naneghat.

Special instructions for this trek event:

* No crackers within nature.

* Plan may cancel at any time in case of high alert/unwanted weather/group size is below 10.

* Age limit 12 to 50 years.

* Age relaxation will be decided by organizers.

* Organizers are not responsible for participants vehicle parking anywhere.

* Speaker, Alcohol and smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the event.

* Snacks can be Poha, upma, Maggie or any other item's depending on the situation.

* All the food items are limited and you need to pay for extra orders.
