It all started with a BIG BANG! - A walk through the Natural History Museum, Chandigarh

The possibility of finding aliens is indeed intriguing, but the story of our home planet, Earth, is no less jaw-dropping. Imagine the drama of explosive volcanoes, the threat of asteroids, titanic collisions of tectonic plates and the undersea chemical soup bubbling with primordial life. We will walk through the Natural History Museum in Chandigarh, which offers a place for this exploration and boasts beautiful panoramic panels and exhibits. The history of the Earth is recreated here. We will explore the origins of our planet and of life itself through 14 huge cycloramas, learn about the rise of Homo sapiens in the Holocene age and chart the evolution of modern man and his domination of the planet. In the Dinosaur Gallery, we will head out on a treasure hunt of prehistoric reptiles and dig up some fossils.
