The Purpose

To celebrate the legacy of Saalu Marada Thimmakka, the "Mother of Trees," and her inspiring journey.

The Intentionality Run is more than just a run, it’s a movement to honour Thimmakka, who is the epitome of intentionality and to encourage everyone to lead a purpose-driven life like hers.

How do we take her purpose further?

Every finisher will receive a sapling, symbolising the impact we can collectively create. We’ll also recognize the people who plant and care for it at the race event every year.

Events Requirements:

• Participants must be 12 years or older on race day and 16 years or older to compete in the 21.1K (Half Marathon).
• The sale or transfer of race entries/bib numbers is strictly prohibited.
• Registration fees are non-refundable.
• All participants are required to show a government-issued photo ID matching the registered name for participant packet pickup.
• Participants must collect their participant packet (bib, timing device & t-shirt) at the Expo at the provided location during official hours or arrange delivery through local courier delivery apps (Dunzo, Zepto, etc.).
• All participants must comply with city, state, and public health regulations.
• Familiarity with and adherence to all event rules is mandatory.

Where does this event happen?

The Run starts and ends at The Glampies, not far from where Saalu Marada Thimmakka planted 8,000 trees along a 4-kilometre stretch of road.

How do we reach the Race Start point?

Enjoy hassle-free travel to the event! Ample parking is available at the venue, or you can opt for our convenient transportation service from/to Bangalore for INR 600/- (payable separately).

What Support will be provided on the Race Day?

• Sufficient food and hydration will be provided.
• Port-a-loos will be placed at convenient places.
• Necessary medical support will be provided to all runners throughout the course of the race.

What about the BIB Collection?

The Registered runners can collect their Packet containing from the Expo. The venue and time of the Expo will be updated closer to the event. You can also opt for local delivery services such as Dunzo and Swiggy Genie at extra cost.
