Event Information
The ICT Marathon is a charismatic event. It epitomizes
sportsmanship, camaraderie and above all heroism. With every
edition of our Green Mararthon, we aspire to reach out to more
people and in our small way, contribute to bringing the change
we wish to see. From running for the dreams of underprivileged
children, to supporting the cause of Animal Welfare, ICT
Marathon has slowly become the agship event of Sportsaga.
The saga of this marathon began back in 2007,when we saw 700
participants running for PETA, 1500 people ran for the Akshara
kids the next year, and in the year after that we joined hands
with Maharashta Pollution Control Board. In 2013 we outran
cancer and 2014 saw 3000 participants running for ‘Make a
Difference’. 2015 witnessed a participation of 4000 people. Last
year, ICT Marathon was its pinnacle with more than 4500 people
from different corners of the world running for the noble cause
of upliftment of underpriviledged children and members of the
society.
Every year, the proceeds of this event go towards charity and
the associated NGO’s whose causes are duly publicized
throughout the events. Thus take great pride in being a part of
the ICT Marathon, where everyone is equal and ordinary at the
starting line, but a HERO is born at the finish line.

VENUE: INSTITUTE OF CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY, MATUNGA.
(Start and end point of the race will be the same)
10k: ICT Timed run (Rs 400)
5k: Timed run (Rs 275)
5k: Joy run ( Rs 150)

All 10k participants will get T-shirts, Bib, Timing Certificates, Refreshments and Finisher medals.Prizes worth 2 lakhs.
All 5k participants will get Bib, Refreshments, Finisher medals and e-certificates.
( 5k timed run participants will also get Timing Certificates)
Baggage room and washroom facilities will be made available on the race day.
RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Registrations and merchandise orders are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be modified.
- There is no race day registration.
- Kindly report to the venue 45 minutes before the commencement of the event.
- Please carry a valid ID proof for verification at the time of bib collection and on the day of event.
- No bib will be distributed on the race day and participants are requested to collect their bibs on the day of collection only.
- Please ensure that there is no mutilation, fold, alteration or damage to the bib. Note that runners who fail to wear the bib on the chest as instructed will not get an official finish time and therefore an official timing certificate. Any person wearing an incorrect bib or no bib will be disqualified.
- First aid and medical facilities will be available on the race day but the organizing team will not be liable for any loss, illness or injury that might occur as a result of your participation in the event.
- Parking will not be provided inside the college premises.
- Participants are advised not to carry any valuables on the race day. Organizers will not be accountable for the loss of baggage and belongings.
- The organizing team reserves the right to reschedule the event in case of unavoidable circumstances and no refund will be given.
- The decision taken by the organizing team will be irrevocable.
